theme upgrade (good way)

  I want to do a theme upgrade of my blog (switch from one to another) on the platform wordpress.com.

  Is it possible to buy a theme and the custom design module to apply it to a copy of my blog on the same account , to customize it and when ready to apply thoses changes on the “main” blog ? (main blog = tulalu.wordpress.com, temporary copy: tulalutest.wordpress.com)
  Are the things that I buyed on the store relative to my blog or to my account ?

  The upgrades you buy are Per Blog, not Per Account, so you can’t switch the upgrades back and forth between blogs.
