Theme: 'Visual' – How to shorten summary/excerpt on home page?

  The home page of this theme displays a grid of the latest posts, which you can click through from to read the posts themselves.

  At the present time though, the entire post is showing up in the grid on the front page, as one long box, rather than being condensed/snipped after say 300 chars. Does anyone know if there are settings I can change to only display the first paragraph of the post in this grid?

  Hi there – looks like you’ve switched themes, are you all set?

  Adding the More tag to your posts would have split your posts on the front page in Visual.
