Theme wacks out when in customizing view
-
I’m trying to spend some time customizing a theme to make it look like my self hosted blog but the theme generator wigs out and I have to close the system out and start over again. I’m not editing CSS and am using the latest chrome and firefox on the mac. Both browsers see the issue. I’ve been tweaking a number of theme options and see the issue, but definitely with Bromley.
Also, I’m looking to find a theme most similar to woo canvas http://www.woothemes.com/products/canvas/. Any theme you’d suggest to get me in the ballpark of my current blog http://www.danradigan.com?

Howdy Dan,
Could you elaborate on what you mean by “wigs out”? If you could give me a better breakdown of exactly what’s happening, I’ll be able to troubleshoot a bit more.

How about either Responsive or Twenty Eleven?

It’s hard to explain, but today I clicked:
preview responsive
theme options
view blog excerptsThen just scrolled up and down a few times and the whole preview pane went blank. Google Chrome on the mac.
Do you all have a way for clients to hire team members to customize a theme to get a certain look?

That’s odd! I just tried to reproduce this in Chrome and Firefox but didn’t have any luck. Is this happening every time on your side?

We don’t have a team in place that will be able to do a complete overhaul. However, we have an entire forum devoted to CSS customizations if you’re looking to make small tweaks:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization
We have theme developers as well as volunteers that offer help there. Perhaps that would be a good starting point?
