Theme will not let me activate it
-
Dear WordPress support,
On 13th March 2015, I purchased a premium theme for £59. It was the Adventure theme.
I have the transaction/receipt ID numbers.
I have since set up a new blog, and wish to use the same theme. The old blog has been deleted. However, it wants to charge me another £52 (slight price drop) when I have already purchased it through my WordPress account.
How can I re-activate this theme without getting charged?
Many thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Was the theme definitely purchased from WordPress.com? Usually it is not possible to delete a WordPress.com site if it still contains active upgrades such as a (never expiring) Premium theme. If you did manage to delete site and theme then you may have lost that theme. It would have been preferable to ask staff to move the theme whilst both sites were still up and running. However as this is all guesses on my part I have added modlook to the tag box on the right and hopefully staff will be able to advise you in due course.

Thanks for your reply.
Well this stupid website won’t let me contact WordPress directly.
Surely upgrades should be based with the account anyway, not with the blog?

Hello –
I see that you have 2 Premium Themes on your account.
Premium Theme: Adventure (adventure) $69.00 purchased on 2014-01-12
Premium Theme: Bindery (bindery) £59.00 purchased on 2015-03-13Please confirm which theme you want to use on the site.

No problem. I’ve added the credits to your account. When you go to purchase the theme again from https://wordpress.com/themes/adventure you should have the option to pay with your WordPress.com credits at checkout.
We aren’t able to ‘transfer’ the Premium theme but this option prevents you from having to pay for it again.
