theme wishlist

Dear WP,
I’m looking for a new theme. It has to be free. I’d like something uncluttered. But not for a photo blog. I don’t use many images. I don’t want the author byline on the main page or posts. Same goes for Post Navigation links on posts. Older / Newer Posts links on the main page are okay, so long as they’re discreet (ie, at the bottom and not advertised by a H2 heading).
Does anyone know of such a theme? And please don’t suggest the CSS upgrade. It must be free.

Apologies for not being clearer. I’m well aware of the theme showcase. However, it won’t play nice with my screen reader (JAWS 13, IE 11, Win 7 fwiw). It lists the first 20 results and I can’t find a link to the next page of results. The showcase page doesn’t “infinite scroll” for me either.
I could try typing in the URL of the second page of results… if I knew what it was.
But of the themes I was able to browse, they didn’t provide the detailed information I was looking for (author byline, and next and previous links). Panos used to provide this information, but he’s stopped updating his pages. This is a loss to the WP community.
So… to recap, I want a simple, elegant theme that doesn’t stamp the author’s name on every post (redundant for a single-author blog), and doesn’t put the title of the next and previous post in every post (discreet “next” and “previous” links are okay). I want to switch off infinite scrolling and I want control over widget visibility.
And it has to be free!
Is there such a beast? Or even a close relative?
Suggestions appreciated.
