Theme with a panorama picture on the home page

    Hi. I love the McKinley theme, however, the photo that I would like on my homepage is a panorama (composed of multiple photos stitched together) and on the McKinley page, only a small portion of the photo is shown.

    The Twenty Ten theme shows the panorama photo well, however I greatly dislike this theme for the purposes of my business website. As I view themes, for some reason, it is very slow as I have to “preview” each site to see whether the entire panorama shot is viewed on the homepage.

    Which themes show the entire panorama photo on the homepage? Or, how can I search by themes re panorama option (I understand there are no plugins on wordpress.com). Or, how can I change the McKinley photo option on the homepage to allow most of the panorama photo to be displayed?

    Hi Lori,

    I think the feature that you may want is a flexible header (judging by what you’ve described). You can find the themes which have this feature right here:

    http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/flexible-header/

    You can search for other themes by feature by going to http://theme.wordpress.com and then clicking on Find a Theme and then under Filters select Features and select what you’d like to look for.
