Theme with video blog comments and message blog comments

  I am very new to wordpress. I need a theme or the ability to change my current theme “twentyseventeen” which will allow me to have a homepage that is a static welcome page and then have clips of recent videos and also recently shared messages. Both of those pages need to be post pages in that they need to encourage comments. I would appreciate any and all support. Thanks

  Hi @kdbowler!

  For the video, you can embed videos from other services on any post or page on your site, with any theme. With a Premium Plan or Business Plan you can also upload videos directly to your site. Perhaps one of those options would work if you used a Category Page to organize the video posts?

  I’m not sure what you mean by “recently shared messages” – but if this is a separate collection of posts you’ll be publishing, another Category Page would probably do the trick.
