Theme won’t change

    I just started my new website, and when I first opened WordPress it only gave me three suggested themes so I chose one. Now I have decided on a new theme, I activated it, deleted the old one, logged out and back in, cleared my cache, and it is still showing the old one (but at the bottom of the editing page it has the new theme name with the old theme look). I don’t get it, I must be missing something, please help!
