theme_mod instagram

  Hey, I’m currently using Theme Twenty Fifteen on version 1.8. I noticed there isn’t any space to add our Instagram account to go along with our other social media icons in our header and footer. How would I go about adding this? I wrote all the coding lines to add but realized there is no place to link the actual account as well as the social icon. I’m new to website management and coding and I tried to search for an answer but I really couldn’t find what I was looking for.

  Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. We cannot help with this in the WordPress.com forums.

  Please post in the support forum for the Twenty Fifteen theme over on WordPress.org for help with this.
