ThemeMin control on Featured Image
-
I’m having trouble with featured images in my blog. I’m curious the specific pixel ratio that ThemeMin uses for the featured image of a post at the top of the post page. Do you know what that is? Is there a way to control the size of that image or a way to control the crop on the image in an effort to not cut off important pieces of the images (i.e. people’s heads, etc.) ? I’ve resorted to only using horizontal images for the featured image, in order to fit into the proportions of the scroll bar thumbnails and the featured image crop. But even using horizontal aligned images doesn’t omit the problem every time. Is there a way through CSS to control this issue?

Hello there,
Your theme is a premium theme and we Volunteers answering questions on this forum have no knowledge of how they are designed to operate. When you purchased your premium theme what came with that purchase was support directly from the theme designer in the Premium Theme Support Forum. There is a link for the specific Premium Theme support forum under Appearance -> Themes in your blog’s Dashboard
Please ask your questions there. -
The Quick Specs at the bottom of theme.wordpress.com pages list all of the image dimensions for WordPress.com themes, which should include the featured image dimensions if the theme has featured image support. See http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/thememin/
