  Is there an eccommerce theme available on wordpress.com? I purchased the membership to setup an ecommerce site for my eBay business. So I would need shopping cart functionality. I did not see any themes available on wordpress.com so I download a theme from another site but it appears I cannot install that theme on wordpress.com. Is that correct? If so I would like to cancel my service within the 48 hour window. I tried searching your site for a support number but would not locate one.

  Howdy,

  That’s correct. For themes purchased/downloaded off of WordPress.com, you’ll need to use the WordPress.org software on a host of your choice. For e-commerce, that’s a good route to go in any event since we don’t currently offer a full-scale solution.

  More about the difference can be found at this link: WordPress.com and WordPress.org. We have a short list of some hosts with one-click installations at http://get.wp.com/hosting , but there are a ton of options out there.

  I’ve confirmed that you cancelled your account and the refund should hit your account shortly. Since you cancelled your domain, it typically takes anywhere from a few days to a few weeks for the domain to return to the marketplace.
