  I deleted my previous blog because I want to change the theme. Now it won’t let me choose another one with the same website link/name because it is “already in use.” How do I keep my account open but choose a new theme for my blog?

  You don’t have to delete your blog to change the theme.

  Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to reuse its WordPress.com address.

  Your account will be still available so you can create another blog with a different name.
