  how do i change to a wordpress supported theme that is not offered on the wordpress site

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The only themes available to wordpress.COM bloggers are the ones under appearance > themes. There is no way to use other themes off of the internet.

  If you are good with CSS, you can stylize the themes here with the paid CSS upgrade, and you can preview changes using the preview function under appearance > edit CSS.

  Do you think there will come a time when we will be able to change our themes? I have several themes that are geared for wordpress but I can’t use them in whole. I can use the header but that is it. I am not so CSS savvy but I don’t mind playing around with something till I have it figured out.

  I kind of doubt it. The version of wordpress used here is multi-user which means we all share the same files (underlying wordpress as well as theme files). It is also modified from the original MU version and any themes used here have to be modified to work with the software here and for security concerns, so even if you could upload a theme from the internet, it would not work well – if at all – here.

  I just don’t think it will happen however wordpress has said that they would be adding more themes this year and we’ve already seen several very nice ones including the Prologue update.
