    Hey, I have two questions. The first one is, how would I make my own theme for my wordpress.com blog? The second one is, I googled “WordPress Themes” and found a cool theme for wordpress that I want to use instead of one of the default themes. How do I do that?

    Hi there,
    So here’s the story. At wordpress. com we all work on the same multi-user blogging platform. The only themes that are available to use to use free of charge are only the ones found here -> Presentation -> Themes.

    That’s because they are the themes that have been adapted from the free standing wordpress. org software so they will run on our software here.

    If you are experienced in css editing then you can purchase the css upgrade and modify the appearance of one of the themes but, you cannot edit the underlying template. If you could then the edits you made would likewise effect every other blog with the same theme.
