  If I change my theme, are my blog, sidebar and pages content safe?

  Yes, generally speaking. If you change to a non-widget-enabled theme, though, your sidebar goes back to the default. Your text widgets are safe, but they’ll be in the bottom box.

  All blog and page content is safe. Be aware that some themes are narrower, and you’ll have to do some rebuilding if you’ve got large images and switch from one width to a different one.
