Add topic to favorites
After I download a theme, how do I use it in my blog ?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

wordpress.com blogs do not have FTP access.
We cannot upload anything (themes or plugins) into them.
The only themes we can use at wordpress.com are here > Appearance > Themes

Please read this entry so you know the differences between free hosted blogs at wordpress.com and self hosted wordpres.com s9oftware that you have to hire a webhost to have. http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Also note that there are other wordpress.com restrictions as well http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/

At wordpress.COM would don’t have the option of downloading themes to our blogs but we do have over 70 different themes to choose from, as a matter of fact a new one just came out yesterday. Here’s the support link that explains how to use the themes. http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/

extract your downloaded files into zip polders, then go to your dashboard menu – appearance, add new themes to upload older zip-activate this theme. :-)

@Balista…wordpress.COM can not do that. And I am pretty sure adwaitp is referring to their .COM blog.
