  Is there a way that I can install the 70+ themes available on WordPress.com to my hosting location?

  My installation of WP only has 16 themes.

  No. They are coded to run on our software which is wpMU wordpress multuser software. They cannot be exported.

  WordPress.com is running WordPress 3.0.

  Any WordPress.com theme can be downloaded here and installed to a WordPress.org blog:

  https://wpcom-themes.svn.automattic.com/

  Also, most of the themes we run here on WordPress.com are also available in the WordPress.org themes directory: http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/ We do tend to use modified versions of the themes though to better fit in with WordPress.com, so if you want the identical version to what we run, you’ll want to use Hanni’s SVN URL.
