  I am interested in themes in WordPress. However I already pay web hosting in GoDaddy. What alternatives do I have? Can I buy themes, download them and put them in GoDaddy? Do I do Domain Mapping? How much does it cost?

  Hi there,

  On WordPress.com you can’t download themes. You can buy a theme and apply to a site that is managed by WordPress.com.
  You can map your domain and use any themes.
  For domain mapping you need to buy an upgraded plan https://wordpress.com/pricing/
  Cost will vary according to the plan you select.

  Once your domain is mapped you can try themes. There are many free as well as paid themes. You can hit Try&Customize button to see how theme looks on your site.

  Be keenly aware that you cannot transfer any theme from https://wordpress.com/themes/ which is licensed and adapted to run on WordPress.COM multi-user software to a WordPress.ORG site, and visa versa. The two run on different software and have different versions of themes with the same names. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
