  Hi there,

  1.)
  To remove a WordPress.com theme from your site, you simply activate a new theme to replace it.
  “All WordPress sites must have an active theme, so you do not need to delete the current theme before activating a new theme.”
  Also, “Themes provided by WordPress.com do not have a delete option because they are not stored on your site.”

  2.)
  You can activate a new theme by going to Appearance -> Themes.
