  Hi, I tried activating the theme twenty fifteen but my old theme, Exford keeps appearing instead when I tried to customize my site. Is there any way to solve this issue?

  Are you trying to activate the theme from your wp-admin dashboard or from WordPress.com dashboard? I can look into this for you.

  i think its from the wordpress.com dashboard. im really sorry for the bother though, the wordpress interface is all new to me.

  Hi,

  your theme has changed but you will need to set it up to resemble the demo page. Because there is no original content on your site yet, you will only see the demo homepage and that will look almost the same in any theme.

  If you want to get that look of Twenty Fifteen demo, you will want to follow the instructions from here:
