There has never been a Bubbles theme here at WordPress.com. You must be thinking of a WordPress.org theme and we cannot use them on our WordPress.com blogs.

@mfcheck123: Go to http://theme.wordpress.com to see what the themes look like.
And timethief was talking about the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, not about the actual .com vs .org domain names.

Please read this entry I link to very carefully noting that WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely different sites that run on different software.
WordPress.com vs WordPress.org: The DifferencesThis is the WordPress.com support forum for those who have free hosted WordPress.com blogs only. Here at WordPress.com we can use only the themes located at > Appearance > Themes and no others. Some of those themes are free and some are paid (premium) themes. There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we cannot upload any third party themes.

Hi there,
We Volunteers don’t recommend or select themes for other bloggers. We answer support que4stions. :) There are over 150 themes here > Themes Showcase and there you can see which themes are free of charge and which must be purchased. You can also click the link and live demo any theme there and there is a searchbox for features you can use to narrow your choices.Gallery > any theme > An image gallery will display a set of thumbnail images attached to a particular post or page. When clicked, gallery images are displayed in a full-size carousel view.
