  I would like a simple, clean theme for hosting a blog. Every time I select a theme that fits this look, an image of mountains is inserted in my content, and I cannot find a way to remove it. Can you help?

  I’m sure that image will just be in a sample page or post which can easily be deleted or replaced with your own content,
