  I can’t open my website, even to get to the WP admin. I see the theme I use is somehow no longer available, and it also won’t let me switch to a new theme??? Help please!

  Hi there,

  This is WordPress.com forum, It seems like your website is using the open source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) which is hosted elsewhere rather than WordPress.com. Which means, WordPress.com staff are limited to access the file hosted elsewhere. To avoid confusion about WordPress.com vs WordPress.org please know the differences from here https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

  However, you can ask the WordPress.org community where you’ll find more experts on open source software for advice at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/. They’re the people using the same software as you who can provide help.

  No, I use Bluehost with WordPress.COM so what do you mean?

  Just to add what @mohammadriyad mentioned, your site annalisescorner.com uses open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) and this forum is focused on sites hosted on WordPress.com.

  The WordPress.com and WordPress.org sites are completely different: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org

  WordPress.org provides complete documentation on self-hosted/installed versions of the software at https://wordpress.org/support.
  You can also post your question at the WordPress.org support forum at https://wordpress.org/support/forums.

  If this issue occurs after installing a theme, you can also contact theme support directly.
