Is it possible in free templates Automattic and WordPress.org self-hosted delete text in footer Proudly powered by WordPress. Theme: xxx by WordPress.com. and set your own?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello –
I found this article which explains how to remove that from the footer. If you need more help beyond that article, then you will want to post in the WordPress.org support forums. Those are different from what happens here at WordPress.com and it will require a different login.

Yes, I can remove from the source code, but can I remove text on the example of Blank Canvas text: Blank Canvas, Proudly powered by WordPress and replace it with my own in free templates?

Hello there,
This is theme specific, as far as I know this can be removed in themes that are block editor first – like Blank Canvas. :)
I hope this helps.

It helped, and what about other templates that are not block editor but were created by Automattic, in them I can also change the footer to my own? I mean all Automattic templates

You’ll need to use advanced CSS customization which comes with our premium plan in order to remove those.

Hello there,
Yes this is possible and at which point you would be using what’s known as, self-hosted WordPress.
There’s more on the difference between the two here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
I hope this helps.
