  Hi there, I’ve made a start but I’m not happy with it.

  (1) I’ve found a theme for a betting website/blog that I’d like to use called Mercury Betting 1. How do I find if this is available and ok/compatible to use on WordPress?

  (2) I’ve already bought my domain name elsewhere. How do I go about using it through WordPress?

  Thanks for the additional info! I’m not familiar with that theme name, so it sounds like you have found that through a 3rd party company that creates themes that are designed to “work on WordPress” yes? I found it here in a Google search.

  It is possible to upload 3rd party plugins and themes, but to do so you will first need to upgrade your site to the WordPress.com Business Plan. It is not possible to upload themes on free sites:
