  Hello,

  I’m interested in knowing how I can get a theme for my site. Also, I want to verify if it is on WordPress.com or WordPress.org.

  To get a new theme I think I have to get the business plan. I’m already hosting with siteground just want to change the theme for my travel blog

  I need help as I don’t understand why I need to upgrade to a business plan just to upload a purchased theme.

  Just to clarify here, are you referring to the site globetrottingdominicana.wordpress.com or another site?

  If you are referring to globetrottingdominicana.wordpress.com, it is true that you need a WordPress.com Business plan in order to upload a custom theme. Saying that, we offer several themes in our theme showcase at https://wordpress.com/themes

  I would also be happy to recommend a theme! Are there any specific competitors or websites in your industry that you admire or want to emulate? This will help me make some recommendations.

  If you are actually referring to a site hosted elsewhere (like with Siteground), that is a WordPress.org site. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are different. WordPress.com is a managed host for WordPress sites.
