  We have a guide for uploading and installing a third-party theme which you can find here: https://wordpress.com/support/themes/uploading-setting-up-custom-themes/#upload-a-theme-file

  Keep in mind that you’ll need to first upgrade your site to a Creator or Entrepreneur plan in order to use third-party themes on your site.

  On sites with lower-tier plans, or sites without a paid plan subscription, we have a wide variety of beautiful themes we’ve created that you can use for free instead. You can always find those at Appearance > Themes in your site’s dashboard or at https://wordpress.com/themes/.
