themes blank in themes directory

  Hi There.

  I have installed WordPress on my Hostgator hosting account, but my themes are blank.If i download themes from wordpress,all of them are blank.My hosting account tried to help me ,but failed. I have seen a few people having this problem already.Can you help me out please?
