Themes don’t work on wordpress.com domain
-
My issue: Blogs hosted on wordpress.com do not show any themes. It is as if there are no CSS stylesheets associated to the site. Even http://www.wordpress.com doesn’t display properly.
My situation: This is only occurring at work. I suspect websense is to blame, but I think its strange that I can see the website, but its just not displaying properly.
Here is a link to a screenshot of WordPress.com from my browser (I’ve tried FF, IE, and Chrome, so its not the browser’s fault).

markel has explained that the stylesheets are hosted on the domain wp.com, which is currently blocked on my internet’s websense. the domain wordpress.com isn’t blocked, which is why the page shows up, but the styling is messed up.
he also stated that the forum’s stylesheets aren’t hosted on wp.com, which is why that domain is styled properly for me.
if you can’t change websense, it looks like the only solution is to put your blog on your own private domain.
