themes for artists

  I am trying to switch my website from godaddy to wordpress,but I am having problems locating a free theme that would support my paintings. I am looking for a theme that would have thumbnails on the header or main page that would link to galleries. Those galleries would then house all the paintings for that subject matter (ie. cityscape gallery, landscape gallery). I am trying to do something with the “Structure” theme, but it is not quite what I’m looking for as best as I can get it. Any ideas?

  Are you aware that we can create galleries on any theme? A gallery will display a set of thumbnail images attached to a particular post or page. See here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/

  I don’t know any themes that provide for this at all.

  We can create custom menus but that tabs have text links and not thumbnail images. http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
