I have an account with Godaddy.com and have wordpress running on my site. I love the theme
“Academica” which I found here at wordpress.com and want to move this theme to my self-hosted site. How do I do that? Can I download themes or am i stuck with the 200 or so that they have as default? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You cannot export any version of any theme coded to run on WordPress.COM software to a WordPress.ORG install.

Last I looked over at WordPress.ORG they had over 1,500 free themes for you to choose from – then add thousands of other themes, not on .ORG some free some cost a lot of money – you should be able to find a theme that looks like what you want at WordPress.ORG – that is also where you will get support for your install on godaddy

1,666 themes for WordPress.org installs are found here http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/
You need to register a WordPress.ORG username account on the top right hand corner of this page http://wordpress.org/support/ and post there for support, as we don’t provide support for WordPress.ORG installs here.
