Themes for the new Block editor

  Howdy!

  Besides Twenty-Nineteen and Business, are there additional themes in our Theme Showcase that fully support all the formatting possibilities that the new block editor provides? I’m especially thinking of “wide” and “full width” content and image insertion on pages and single view posts.

  As long as I have your ear, can we hope that at some point we’ll have more options for gallery with the new block editor like we had with the previous editor, such as tiled mosaics, etc.?

  Hi Jennifer!

  In general, themes with a full-width template will work with the new editor wide and full width options. I have already tested some of those themes myself and they work great. You can find them here:

  As for the Jetpack galleries, our developers are actively working on implementing them to the new editor. So stay tuned!

  I also noticed that a whole slew of new Business-centric themes have been added to take advantage of the new block editor. :)

  If those essentially are one page themes, it would be great if they could be added to the one page theme tag. https://wordpress.com/themes/filter/one-page

  They’re not one-page themes and they are fully compatible with the block editor. This means that you can (almost) build your homepage with the block editor.

  Thanks for clarifying. I’ve reread the tag description on the developers site and indeed they do not fit the description.
