themes from other sites

  So I found a bunch of sites with wordpress themes, such as http://www.wpfreethemes.com

  but i can’t figure out how to actually make it the theme on my wordpress blog! it downloads as a zip file onto your computer, and contains many php files and jpeg files. anyone know?

  You can’t use them on a WP.com blog at all. They are for independent WordPress blogs, hosted elsewhere.

  ooooh!! thanks!! i was feeling so stupid for not being able to figure it out…makes me feel better to know it’s actually not possible. tho i’m a little disappointed. thanks a lot!
