Themes from the big library

Greetings!
Default themes in WordPress are very poor, ugly.
I found in WordPress.org a great theme. But I thought I could use it in my account. Now I see I should host my blog in other place (???) to use those themes. Nonsense…
WP has some PAID features. So I ask: is there a way to pay for something special to be able of using the theme in my normall account in WP? WP team should think about that. You have some paid special feaures, so why not this one? I pay an annual fee to the right of uploading themes I want to my account.
Love WP. It’s much better then Blogger. But theme is very important to me. Considering I don’t like WP default themes and I don’t want to host my blog in another place, I’ll not use WP for now, will wait if you decide to release this special paid feature.

You cannot use themes downloaded from the internet here because they will not work here. Themes used here have to be reviewed for security issues and then modified to run on the multi-user version of the wordpress software used here, and then tested in all browsers and versions. Also, ONLY full GPL licensed themes will even be considered. Creative commons, modified GPL or anything but full GPL will not even be considered.
If you want a theme off of the internet, pry open your wallet and go self-hosted. Figuring in web hosting and the cost of the domain registration hosting will run you anywhere from $6 per month to over $100 depending on your bandwidth and storage requirements.

I have a hosting account. I could have my WP blog there.
However, I don’t know if it’s the same. Maybe the features are updated faster in WP servers. Maybe WP servers will allways have more features. I don’t know how much I can trust a blog outside the very good WP. I think I would feel safer with you, not with others.
The problem is that you are REALLY GOOD, the best blog tool, but you really should improve your themes.

You should be aware that there are two kinds of wordpress: .com and .org
.com has free hosting and bloggers use the communal software and themes
.org has free software to make your blog function, but you must pay to host it somewhere and fix any thing that goes wrong with your blog. You can download themes from the internet.https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/please-read-me-first-before-posting?replies=1
Also, keep in mind that helpers in the forum are volunteers and your fellow bloggers who have no access to the backend of functions at wp.com
