theme's header.php not loading

    i develop in Dreamweaver and have had no problems so far , until this morning. when i kicked up DW, the header.php for my theme is not loading. it’s also not loading from the WAMP localhost. everything else loads, but the header. which means all the CSS is not loading either, so it looks like hell. [ this is what i get for trying to get some sleep…. :P ]

    all the files are there, i’ve replaced all the wordpress files with fresh ones, but that header.php isn’t loading. nothing else changed.

    i thought it might be DW, but, as i mentioned, even localhost isn’t loading it. neither is my remote testing server. i checked all the files in Notepad++ to be sure nothing went awry (paths, &c.) i even double checked that the images hadn’t magically vaporized. still broke. all i did was save my work and close DW. :'(

    anyone have any ideas. i’ve searched all over the place, but found nothing. if i’ve missed another thread, please forgive and repoint me.
