Hi @xaviersfournier ,
Good news, it can be done! I found a very similar forum enquiry to yours.
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/accidental-activation-of-new-theme-need-to-revert-to-former/The staff gives a good explanation about going back to your previous theme in the above post. Since you activated the theme before it was retired, you should still be able to search for it from the following link.
https://ledetour.media/wp-admin/themes.phpAs the staff mentions in the link above, you may want to consider moving to a newer theme, as support and updates for your theme has ended. I did a quick search for a theme that could be similar to Booklet. You might find Baskerville 2 as a similar equivalent. Just a suggestion. :)
Feel free to come back here if this solution doesn’t work out for you. All the best!

Hi,
After a quick search with the link you gave me, it seems that the Booklet them is no longer there…To be honest with you, I wish to change my site eventually but I would have like to keep it running until then with the old theme…
Any other idea how can I reactivate the booklet theme?
FYI, since my unfortunate theme switch, I have try to activate another theme. Could that be the reason why I can’t reactivate my old one?
Thank you.

Hi there,
The information from the link @musicsuzuranbbc provided only applies to free retired themes. Premium retired themes can not be reactivated once you move away from them.
Because the Booklet theme is retired and no longer supported, I do agree that moving to a newer theme that receives support and updates would be the best next step.
However, let me know if you are having any issues with the current theme and I will be happy to further assist you.
Thanks,

Oh… @xaviersfournier , I apologize for my misunderstanding there. I had a look at the support page on Premium Themes, and found the following paragraph.
Sometimes, we may decide to retire a Premium theme because it’s dated from a visual or functionality standpoint. If that happens, you can continue to use the theme for as long as you like, but if you switch to another theme, you can’t change back. We’re always happy to help you find a newer and better theme for your site.
I’d be happy to help you set up your new theme, too.
staff-doublebassd , thank you for pointing that out. As a suggestion, maybe WordPress.com could consider providing another popup when people switch off from a retired premium theme, letting them know their decision will be irreversible? Just a thought. :)
