themes – naked html with firefox

I’ve registered a new wordpress.com blog and wanted to get started customizing it. So i began to browse the themes in the presentation section to decide on one of them. None had a preview but good-ole Kubrick. Activating any of the other themes brought me a blog with naked html. So i opened IE, to see wheather it’s a browser problem. It is! But what the hack!? I’m using Firefox 2.0.0.15 under Windows XP Professional. I’ve noticed this problem before, when visiting friendly blogs hosted by wordpress.com. I’m running a wp blog on my own domain, that’s causing no CSS problems with FF. Is this bug fixable? What can i do? I don’t wanna switch to IE each time i’m working with my new wp.com blog, don’t want to frighten off my visitors using FF either. I think this guy had a similar problem, but it’s not solved yet.

Very odd. I would suggest updating firefox, though.

Well, now i have a brand new version of Firefox, lucky me. But unfortunately it doesn’t solve the problem. :( Can anybody else reproduce the bug, or am i the only blogger with naked html problem?

I have the same version of Firefox for Linux and have no problems.

Do you have any extensions? Have you tried starting FF in safe mode?

Okay, thanks, it’s one of the filters of Adblock, that caused the problem. The available wp-themes derive from a location similar to http://username.wordpress.com/wp-content/themes/pub/themename/screenshot.png. My Adblock plugin for Firefox filters everthing coming from */pub/*, so i couldn’t see the styles. Thanks for your help! Now i can think about solutions.
