  I had a website that had a theme (I’m not 100% sure which theme). My web company designed my site in WP.

  I haven’t upgraded for a while due to financial constraints

  Last weekend, asked them to load a brochure for me before I did a bridal fair (I am a photographer)….and my entire website is gone.

  I am devastated.

  I had JUST got my blog right – and it’s all gone.

  Is it true that if you don’t upgrade often enough, WP just stops supporting your site?

  Right now I’m looking at having to pay for my site to be built from scratch, and I just can’t do that right now.

  Is what they’re telling me true?

  Your site is not hosted by us (WordPress.com). It is using the open-source WordPress software and it is hosted elsehwere. Therefore, you need to contact your web company regarding that issue.
