Themes, plugins, and membership for audio speaking lessons

    I have 14 language lessons where each has both a scroll-able, transcribed, pdf file and an audio file used together that customers must have a membership license code to access for 30 days. What theme(s) and plugins can handle this?

    Hello again, the best place to get recommendations for such themes and plugins are with the folks over at https://wordpress.org or by browsing the themes and plugins sections directly, even if you plan on hosting your website here on WordPressdotcom.

    As far as I can tell nativeenglishcoaches.com, the domain you’ve mentioned previously, is currently using the open source WordPress software and is using these nameservers and so it is not hosted here.

    If you already have web hosting with Pair, you do not need to buy a WordPressdotcom upgrade plan as well. Please read our support guide to the differences between WordPress and WordPressdotcom (where we are ) https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    I’ll consult with WordPress.org in the future but a final favor please – can you suggest key words to browse with and/or give a link or two to the themes that would likely help me? I haven’t the foggiest idea about how to get the information I need or evaluate the pages I’d find.

    Just adding then that in the case of both themes and plugins there is a star rating system enabled on ORG. But in addition to that, things like the number of active installs and the last update date are also important.

    Hi Jennifer, I’ll ask over in ORG for specific recommendations as I have a sense of what I want but that’s all. But, it is helpful to know that the number of stars, installs, and latest update is a good rule of thumb to know what’s best. I’m glad I asked you for a final question and you were kind enough to respond!

    Hello Jennifer,

    Can you tell me why I’d have trouble purchase Premium membership for Woocommerce? I wanted to pay with PayPal but when I clicked the payment circle it said “Paypal checkout removed.” Why can’t I purchase Premium with PayPal?

    Hi Marc –

    Please tell me the URL of the page that you’re one when trying to use that PayPal check out. Then I can test it from my side of things.

    Few bits of basic browser troubleshooting that I will also suggest.
    – See if it works in a different browser
    – Clear the cache + cookies on the browser you’re using:

    – Verify that PayPal can be used in your country

    The country I am in is Hungary and it uses PayPal. I just tried cleaning the cache out but for some reason it didn’t completely empty.
