Themes Request

  What is the procedure to request theme(s)?
  I was looking at this “80+ free 2-column website”:
  http://mashable.com/2007/09/29/2-column-website-templates/
  they have nice templates. Is it possible to add them all? ha ha ha. Okay, at least the following:
  – stylized
  – fun ride
  – natural beauties
  – snowflakes
  (- earthling)
  – integral
  – Typography Paramount
  – Rambling Soul 2
  – Underground
  – standardissue
  – internet music

  … well, you get the picture. :D

  During weekdays and work hours for Support please send staff your theme request as well as a link to it and your reasons for requesting that it be adapted to run on wordpress.com software.

  Okay, I will check the URL during work hours. It seems that my hours are not the same as WP working hours :)

  I just checked the FAQ, and the corresponding entry suggests using these forums: specifically, the Ideas forum:

  Is the FAQ out of date, or is the “standard answer” on the forums not appropriate for theme requests?

  It doesn’t really matter where theme requests go, as in reality staff pay no attention to them anyway. However, my feeling is that the contact form is probably best kept for genuine support requests, since staff already get more email than they can handle.
