themes similar to Pique

    I’m updating a website from Quintas to possibly Pique.

    I like the static photos of Pique with the text …etc that float on top. are there similar templates?

    And fyi …
    His is http://www.steamboatintiors.com I would like a similar site to http://rumordesigns.com/

    Could you suggest a template?

    The other free scrolling front-page theme that comes to mind is Harmonic:

    Instead of pulling in eight panels of static-page content on the front page like Pique does, it lets you set up to five front-page panels to display different types of content: a title area, page area, portfolio projects, news (posts), and a widget area.

    earthgripper, it would be awesome if you’d consider answering Pique questions here in the forums rather than privately, as doing it publicly here helps many other users who may have the same questions in the future. :)

    Thank you very much, Harmonic was nice. I still prefer Pique.
    With that said. I am still having trouble converting his Quintas theme to Pique. I tried to change the background photo. The photo I like is a portrait instead of landscape. Does that matter? It seems to be duplicating it three times next to each other. I go in to change the photo and I end up with another photo behind the one I wanted to change.

    Again, I do have another “dummy site” to work with and want to show him (boss) my changes without changing his site. If I do want to play around in his site, and save my changes, but not publish, is that possible?

    Unless your boss is looking at the site while you have unsaved changes open in the Customizer, he won’t be able to see them. You’ll need to save your changes on the test site to share them easily with others.
