themes with just feature photo before clicking to text

I seem to gravitate to Fontfolio. But I really hesitate to use a theme that shows only a feature photo, blog post title and date, per blog post on the main page as the default.
I’m afraid that enough readers just won’t make the extra effort to click further to read a blog post itself. Unfortunately this theme doesn’t allow even simple excerpts of lst few words of blog post to entice readers.
My blog is not a photography blog nor an artist’s work portfolio blog. It is a personal, thematic blog with blog post text with several photos that I’ve arranged per blog post.
Are you motivated to other people’s blogs that show only photos on the main page and require you to click further to even read a blog post text?

We know each other very well and I know you will not be offended by my plain speech so allow me to be blunt.We have not been allowed to post discussion threads like this one for over two years now. The Off Topic and Showcase Forums were closed because they were abused. Staff say the Ideas Forum can be used to do that at https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/ideas
That said, my answer is that if and when post titles declare the topical content within any post via proper use of relevant keywords I will click through.
Also since you asked I don’t think Fontfolio is a better theme choice than Sight it for your content.

Ok, I had no idea about the “ban” because of abuse.
You may be right because my blog posts tend to be more than just 1 paragraph.
