Themes with multiple front pages

    I am looking for a theme that allows me to set up multiple pages similar to my front page.

    On the front page of my site, I can install numerous widgets such as a slideshow and several different ways of of displaying articles.

    Is there a template that allows me to set up a similar page for a category. It would not be the front page, but would function similar to the front page. I would be able to drop in widgets that would display articles from that category in different ways.

    I am looking for a template that allows me to set up multiple pages that have the same look and feel as a front page.

    I have looked through a several templates, premium and otherwise, but can’t seem to find one that does that.

    It is also possible I am missing one, because I am not completely sure what I need to do this.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi there!

    The blog pages are often different than the front page, as you’ve seen. But maybe one of these options could work…

    Hive – displays posts on category pages in two columns, rather than the one standard blog column.
    Pictorico – displays posts on category pages with images, instead of the usual blog page format.

    Or you could try out the Display Posts Shortcode to have it generate a list of posts on a page with different pieces showing (title, date, author, thumbnail, etc… all depending on how you configure the shortcode).
