Themes with numbered pages

  I’m starting a new blog on food recipes, and I’m looking for a theme to go with it. My problem is that I don’t really like inifnite scrolling themes, so I’m trying to look for themes with numbered pages or at least “Older posts” and “Newer posts”, not infinite scrolling or “Load more posts”. Can anyone suggest me with a simple customizable Header and Background theme with numbered pages? I’m having quite a hard time finding one since they don’t always say it in the info page, and there is no filter for searching themes with numbered pages.

  Howdy! We don’t have many (if any?) themes that do this, as most of our themes use Infinite Scroll. All themes going forward will use Infinite Scroll as well.

  You may have better luck with a self-hosted WordPress site if you’d like finer control over post navigation.

  a) The older/newer navigation system can still be found on a few grid layout themes (Mixfolio, Suburbia, Sunspot, The Columnist), as well as on DePo Masthead and Structure. There’s also The Morning After, which works in a different way.
  b) On the rest of the themes the older/newer links are still there: they’re just hidden. So if you buy the Custom Design upgrade you can use CSS editing to restore them.
