Themes w/Static Home ‘page’ ;Blog posts as separate page?
-
Hi, are there themes with ‘static’ home pages that I then can make the blog posts a separate page that have new posts but home page will remain static? Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Okay, so, I did this but on the “Posts” no ‘posts’ content is showing. What did I do wrong?
It’s just saying the title info of the page but no posts are appearing.
Thanks.

I am using a Firefox 3.6.9 browser and I can see post content under your titles. Please try these troubleshooting techniques as I believe you may be experiencing a browser issue.1. Some issues that you encounter with your WordPress blog or account can be solved by changing your browser settings, refreshing the page, or clearing the browser cache and cookies. See here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/ The instructions for specific browsers are found here > http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050

3. Some issues can be resolved by using another browser.

Hi Timethief… sorry for any confusion. it is for a different blog, not that one.

Sorry… it’s http://takeforwardwbai.wordpress.com. The category ‘blog’ – which I don’t even really need – is the Posts page. It has copy there about this being the home widget area which I’m not sure how to get rid of. When I put a post up that said ‘coming’, nothing appeared. And the actual widgets, which appear to the right on the other pages, are to the bottom and to the right on that page.
Thanks for your help!
