Theme/WordPress update; will I lose my customisation?

    Hi,

    I recently purchased the RealSoccer theme from Envato/Goodlayers. I installed my theme and created + activated a child theme immediately. I installed the plugins listed by Goodlayers.

    Goodlayers Soccer
    Goodlayers Shortcode
    Goodlayers Importer
    Goodlayers Portfolio Post Type

    I then began editing my theme using the plugin Soccer. I edited the colours and logos. Since then I checked my Child Theme and it is empty. What files have I been editing?

    Will I lose this customisation when I eventually have to update WordPress or the theme?

    These are the WordPress.com forums and the empty site linked to your name only has a generic “hello world” post from six years ago.

    You’ve obviously talking about some unnamed self-hosted site using the WordPress.org software and need to be at:- https://wordpress.org/support/

    Please contact your theme developer via Envato’s support channel for assistance. As themagicrobot said, these forums are for sites hosted on WordPress.com, but you’re running the WordPress software on your own hosting. Good luck!
