  I would like to preview a theme from Themify for my current blog, but the theme is not listed under the appearance tab. Is there a way I can preview a theme not listed without buying it and moving my blog first? The theme is Parallax.

  The only themes you can use on a free hosted WordPress.com blog are those found here > Appearance > Themes and showcased here > http://wordpress.com/themes/

  There is no upgrade you can purchase that changes anything at all stated clearly here > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  You cannot import a theme. We do not have FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we not able to upload any third party themes.

  If you want to use any third party theme or build your own theme then don’t waste any time here at all. Purchase web hosting http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install. http://wordpress.org/ Then move your .wordpress.com blog content into it http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/
