There has been a critical error on my website

  Hi, WordPress is saying that there ‘has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions’ – However, i can’t see any email in my inbox. Do they mean my email I signed up to WordPress with or something else for the ‘Site admin inbox, i cant figure it out. Thank you!

  Sharing your URL will let us confirm whether this is WordPress.com or WordPress.org, and which account it’s associated with.
  The email may have been moved to your spam folder. It will be the email address associated with the account that created the website.

  Hi again @goodproductuk,

  From your other thread https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/the-theme-i-have-paid-for-is-broken/, it looks like the website you are making is not hosted on WordPress.com. It may be using WordPress.org.

  If it is using WordPress.org, you’ll need to go to their forums to get further support: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/.
  To clear up any confusion about the difference, please read the support document https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/.

  If this error is occurring for a different site to the one mentioned in your other thread, please share the URL of the site that is giving you the error.

  Bear in mind that the account you’re posting from is only a week old, so it could be that you have an account on WordPress.org which is the admin for the site receiving the error. If that’s the case, you’ll need to check the email address associated with your WordPress.org account (including the spam folder).

  Hi @writer0001 Given in the spirit of trying to assist you in leveling up your volunteer experience, while it is good to follow up on forum threads, posting again to a forum thread to which the original poster hasn’t responded in over a week (either to this or to the thread that Staff replied in) isn’t a good use of your volunteer time.
