  Hi community and WordPress,

  One of my sites is down now and it shows “There has been a critical error on this website” on website.

  We haven’t received any emails from WordPress and don’t know how to address the issue. Can someone please let us know what is wrong?

  Hey there! That site isn’t hosted with us, so the emails would come through your own WordPress installation, which seems to be at Scicube. I’d recommend two things.

  1. Contact your host for help with these troubleshooting steps:
  https://wordpress.org/support/article/common-wordpress-errors/

  2. Ask them about why you didn’t get the email from your server. They may need to configure a remote domain, for example.

  Going forward, these forums are for the sites hosted here on our servers. There is another forum for the free WordPress software that you’ll want to use instead. You can find that here:
