There has been a format change
-
There has appeared a new format so how now can I locate an old post and then copy it? The old format provided a search box for the required post, but the new format requires me to scroll down through the posts looking for the one I want from the 1000’s of them?

Hi there, on WordPress.com, each Posts dashboard includes a search feature at the top.
If you were accustomed to working in the WP Admin dashboard previously and now have the unified navigation on your account, you can get to the WP Admin Posts dashboard by changing the setting to Advanced Navigation in your Account Settings> Interface Settings> Dashboard Appearance https://wordpress.com/me/account

Hope that helps, but post back here if you have any other questions on this.

You’re welcome. As you work with the unified navigation you’ll find that some dashboard pages redirect to their newer versions. If you’d like to leave feedback for Staff, there is a thread here https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/unified-navigation/

Another problem – when publishing a post, it is not appearing as having just been published, but is appearing against the time and date line of when it was first composed.

Hi @crossroman I was AFK for a couple of days.
I suggest opening a new forum thread for any other issues that you are encountering. It doesn’t sound like this is related to the unified navigation, but Staff can check on this as well. https://wordpress.com/forums?new=1
Add the “modlook” tag without the quotes to the Topic Tags section of the new thread form to flag your thread for their attention. Thanks.
